This is my third photoshoot with Ashley, going all the way back to 2021.
The first time Ashley and I worked together, I learned quickly that Ashley expresses herself with her body. With movement. With intention, and grace.
During our time together, we focused on what she wanted for this shoot specifically: time with her new therapy dog, movement and intention in the woods, and ending near the water for some final shots. It was her birthday and her goal was simple: to celebrate this year and what is to come in a safe space.
What I have loved about working with Ashley is her trust in me to capture her again and again - knowing and believing that she is safe and free to express herself genuinely.
This has always been my heart with women - to express and celebrate who you are freely in-front of the camera. Some women need some support to step into that confidence - and some women just need a space safe enough to know that they are free to express that confidence.
Ashley is a force, with so much grace and love in every step. She pours her heart into her work, and is a ray of light. Thank you friend for having me capture this light of yours.
