In the fall of 2023, Karen connected with me for her 5 year anniversary with Jason.
They were exploring the West Coast, and really wanted to capture their love in the middle of Giants. Redwood Giants.
She wanted a couple things: to celebrate their love, to have some sun bursts in the middle of the forest, and to look really really small. Like really small - to show off the grandness of the Redwoods.
Not only was I down for this adventure, but I got to personally experience the Redwoods for the first time ever not even a year prior! So I knew the area, and was giddy to go back.
We met at the Avenue of the Giants, a long stretch of Redwoods in Northern California in Humboldt Redwoods State Park.
This was the perfect setting to capture love, and really really small (and beautiful) humans amongst the giants.
