When I first moved to Seattle 9 years ago one of my very first photo sessions was with Natalie for her senior photos.

Not knowing many people and just starting out with bringing my business from Colorado, I was anxious to get started in Seattle. When I met Natalie and her mom in Seattle, I was welcomed to the area by two of the most kind people and hope grew for my business in this region.

7 years later, I had the privilege to reconnect with Natalie and her family to photograph Natalie’s wedding day!

To no surprise, her fiancé Noah, and both of their families welcomed me with open arms and allowed me to capture the most beautiful day in Snoqualmie Pass.

Natalie and Noah shared a first look at the family’s cabin followed by their first portraits together, and a private vow exchange right on Gold Creek Pond.

We then all gathered around the pond to make it official, surrounded by trees and a quiet breeze.

With no one around, this truly made for a special gathering.

These wedding days are so much more rich when surrounded by good people, and Natalie and Noah are some of the best.

**This elopement was photographed in Gold Creek Pond, Snoqualmie Pass before the 10-year long habitat-restoration closure. This area is no longer accessible to the public and is pending opening in 2036.
